Founded in 1967, the company was originally a local state-owned enterprise Shanghai Fengxian Vehicle and Ship Repair Factory. In 1980, it began to switch production, mainly producing various non-standard pressure vessels and other vessels, and later changed its name to Shanghai Fengxian Equipment Container Factory Co., Ltd. The company is headquartered at No. 1150, Juting Road, Fengxian District, Shanghai, covering an area of 66,000 square meters and a construction area of 23,000 square meters.
